How we pick
In short: we feature apps that impress us, say clearly which ones we like best, and say so openly when an app is our own.
Taking a close look
We take a close look at every app: what it does, what it costs, who it is made for and how well it is maintained. When we use an app ourselves, we tell you about it. We never invent impressions we have not had.
Best-of lists by taste
The order of a best-of list is our recommendation: the apps we like most at the top. Each app comes with the key facts such as price and platforms, with the date.
Our own apps
The person behind AppSommelier builds apps. They appear in best-of lists like any other app and always carry the label “Ours”. Ads for them are marked as advertising. Details under Disclosure.
